Clippers waive Solomon Jones

Clippers waived forward Solomon Jones today. Clips now have 14 man roster.

He was going to become guaranteed for the rest of the season if he didn't clear waivers by the 10th. This move is not necessarily indicative of any impending moves. We may even sign him to a 10-day contract when we are allowed to.

That wouldn't open any roster spots.
Though, I wouldn't mind it so those two guys can get some playing time.

@MK:
I'm with you in that I also don't think that waiving Solo means any moves are impending.
We'll just leave that option open to us and will be able to give him two 10 day deals, before we'd have to sign him for the season.

My first thought was that we will make some kind of move, not sure when it will happen though. I wouldn't mind bring back Jones on a 10-day contract until we are ready to add a SG.

As mentioned it's just to avoid the guaranteed nature of his contract, especially since K-Mart has been added to the team. I wouldn't mind bringing him back, I like seeing him on the floor a lot more than I like seeing Cookie

Jones didn't do anything wrong, it's purely a business move. Hope he catches on and contributes somewhere.
