Irving out. Andy possibly out? You know what that means... We now look like the Cavs from last season.

And also..

You know, I was thinking the same thing after Andy went out. And we lost more than a few close games during the streak last year that looked very similar to last nights game. Sessions was really bad last night for whatever reason, I hope he can pick it up again, I know everyone has bad games from time to time but I really want him to shine while Kyrie is out to increase his stock around the league.
This would be a tough game if everyone was playing, so it certainly looks like a loss. I am looking forward to seeing this Philly team, and Evan Turner. I wonder if it would be possible to kidnap Turner and keep him here disguised as AP? Anyone think Philly would miss him?

Well the tanking should be in full effect starting about now. Time to get Jamison and Sessions as much value as possible.

Hey guys sixer fan here,

Why think about tanking when you are clearly an improved team? You guys can make the playoffs this year...Irving has looked awesome thus far.
I know you guys are without him and A.V tonight but good luck and I hope the game is injury free. We (Sixers) are struggling a little bit defending the pick and roll. I'm sure Byron Scott will try to exploit that with Sessions and Jamison tonight. This is no gimme for us and I wouldn't give up yet if I were you guys because the Cavs look really good this year.
Here's to a good fight tonight.
Peace
Explosions.

because the goal isn't to make the playoffs. the goal is to win a title. i know some other teams might be content with just the playoffs, but well, you're probably at least somewhat familiar with the sports history of this city, particularly in basketball. we don't want to turn into a perennial first round exit like atlanta, we want a banner. tanking (not a fan of that word for the record, as it implies losing on purpose which nobody wants) is the only way to ultimately get there.

Big market teams can buy good players in free agency but the only way the Cavs are going to add good players around Kyrie is the draft similar to the OKC model.

Getting blown out at home, shooting below 40 percent from the field. Yep, just like last season.

Taking out Varejao literally rips the heart out of this team. They have no chance from the beginning

The truth is... Casspi sucks. I didnt think NBA players could airball layups.

I was excited to see what Casspi could do, but now that we have seen him for a dozen or so games I dont think he is anything but an end of the bench player. He is a little bit more athletic version of Luke Harangody. At least JJ isnt doing anything for Sacto so the deal is still in our favor if we ever get their pick.
I really dont like watching non competitive basketball, so last nights game wasnt fun at all. I hope when Kyrie comes back we at least put up a fight before we lose, a repeat of last seasons non competitive type of games will make it extremely difficult to continue to watch even with Kyrie and Tristan on board.
