MmmHmm I'm sure the fans will come in droves for this...LOL but no seriously I'd take any major league team I can get in this town. We need to build some type of sports aura in this city.

It will be interesting to see if a Citrus Bowl renovation would be pushed, or a 20,000 soccer specific stadium be requested from the MLS' end.

Please please please

I watched them last season... and I'm going to a few more games this season

Please MLS, give Orlando our 2nd legit major sports team (no offense to the Predators and Solar Bears, I love those teams too)

Orlando City Soccer has to keep winning against tough competition!

They really need to update the Citrus Bowl... it's been so long

I'm really excited about this... I love soccer (just as much as basketball)... I would literally go to every home game if we had a team in the MLS... I hope the meeting goes well and talks continue to grow.

A friend of mine, Justin Fojo, played for OCS. Representing Trinidad & Tobago! Good for them and the city. I'd love for us to have another major sports team to root for.

I'm sorry I did not know there was another thread. I just went back a couple pages and posted the same news in the other thread. :(

I go to the games a lot. My family are huge fútbol fans. We averaged about 5k fans during the season last year and 9k during the playoffs too. It was a great run.

Let's get it done.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

I would love any sport here... ANY! I'm desperate. I love Soccer though. I really love all 5 major sports, so, I'd be happy with any of them.

I remember when the Solar Bears won the last IHL Cup/Championship before the league folded 10 or 12 years ago... and the NHL decided not to take the Orlando Solar Bears franchise (they chose 2 or 4 other IHL teams instead, but Orlando was one of the teams in the discussion)

Btw, I'm happy the Solar Bears are back 8-)

Anyway not to derail the thread... I could definitely see a huge turnout if Orlando became an MLS team... 4 or 5 times as much attendance numbers currently easily... Florida has a huge soccer following.

I watch this video every so often to cheer myself up :D

Maybe someday this squad will win a MLS championship ;)

But right now Orlando needs to focus on defending their title this season

I hope if we get this team to the MLS that the MLB, and NFL, and maybe the NHL, look at us and see what good fans we have here. and, that if we get any of those other sports here, we would come out and support them. this place is great for sports, and I would love being a sports town.
