Boris Diaw

Post#1 » by myrak433 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 11:38 am

Look I am no Diaw fan but he would make us better. Zaza has missed two point blank layups, both would have won the game. we ended up loosing the boston game, but we won in spite of Zaza's missed layup last night. now I love zaza on the hawks, but.............................................
Zaza is a backup not a starter. We could bring in Diaw to help with the offense at the center position. because right now we don't have any offense at the 5.

Diaw can do this

this is Zaza on offense

I've actually hoped for the past few seasons we might be able to trade for/acquire Boris. But at this point in his career, I think San Antonio is a better fit.

They have a proven coach, a battle tested system, a veteran roster and a game plan that better suits international players like Diaw.

His conditioning has always been bad and this year, especially, his motivation has waned.

But we could do worse than having him replace Zaza (or Marvin) in the starting lineup.

Rumor has it he is San Antonio bound. I don't think he would have replaced anyone in the starting lineup, but considering how poorly Jason Collins is playing coming off the injury and that Dampier seemingly never being used we could use anyone who could buy Zaza a few minutes of rest without the other team going on a 10-0 run.

Yeah great idea replace Zaza with Diaw and get even smaller. Diaw is no Center he would fit right in with all the other players playing out of position around here.

On the other hand, I would love to have him as a contributor.

Hey, I understand your reluctance.

But, we've seen him be pretty productive while playing Center back in Phoenix right after we traded him for JJ.

I don't think he could slow D Howard or Bynum, but against most teams, he could be pretty effective, I think. Not to mentinon he's just 1 inch shorter than Horford and a bit of a chubbo these days.
