Eric Gordon could play tonight

Post#1 » by EastSideBucksFan » Wed Mar 28, 2012 7:41 pm

Go get him.

This is the kind of a pickup that can win you a championship if he's still available.

I'm in first and I just grabbed him. Amazing.

New player notes Wed, Mar 28

Coach Monty Williams hasn't ruled Gordon (knee) out from playing Wednesday against the Warriors, csnbayarea.com reports.

Recommendation: Thought Gordon isn't expected to play Wednesday, the fact that he's even in the conversation suggests that a return for him is near.

He's playing for a contract too. The heath part is obviously a huge IF but we're probably looking at top 3 round value if he actually is healthy.

Any updates?

Couldn't find anything new. Other than the "uncertainty" to play on wednesday from Monty.

Should I drop him? Looking to add Evan Turner to help pad my stats.

don't get your panties wet. pretty rare for a guy who's been out for months to come back and log 35+ minutes right off the bat. there's upside and downside.

Eric Gordon battled lower back stiffness during Saturday's game and was limited to just 10 points (3-of-12 shooting), three rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes.
Gordon played just three minutes in the first half before starting and playing 22 minutes in the second half. He was visibly uncomforable after returning, however, and his shot obviously wasn't falling, so we'll keep a close watch on his status for Monday's game vs. the Lakers. Hopefully this was a temporary issue caused by his long layoff, and nothing that will hamper him over the final two weeks.
