This is a really big game for us. I really think it is a must win with the tough schedule ahead and just to infuse some confidence into the team down the stretch. Not a great 1st qtr, but not bad. Defense needs to pick it up. Hansbrough was big hitting the 3 j's in the first. We just aren't sharp. As I type this we had a turnover and jax hit a 3..then hans scores again...he's really keeping us in this

I hope we can build a competent team around Paul George. Granger needs to be traded. Collison needs to be waived.

The team fought back so I'm happy :)

I'd like our defense to be better but let's hope that the guys are going to repeat the performance of the second half tomorrow :D

can't be too upset with a loss to a very good team at their place. Atlanta lost too preserving our half game hold on 5th.

i hate to say it, cuz i really like them both, especially granger...but....i believe it is time to trade granger and collision. a package deal for a legit sg this summer if possible. and resign hibbert and hill, and build from there. otherwise we are just going to be stuck as an upper class team who meddles around, makes the playoffs every year, and never has a chance to win it all.

I've been on the Granger trade path for numerous years, not because he sucks either. Often times I waiver because he shows signs of leadership and emotion, only to disappoint by returning to his reclusive self.

I like where his value is at at this point, and see no problem trading him this offseason. He would work best with other established vets capable of dictating a pecking order. With the youngsters it seems many times he does so much outside what the team needs from him.

The flipside is that if we don't trade him we still have a fringe all-star level player. This lessens our motivation to trade him, but in order to establish a new culture of allowing others to grow we must consider it. It reminds me of JO's last couple seasons here, where he dominated every aspect of our team, to a fault. By trading him we allowed Granger to blow-up, and we got Roy. Now we face a similar perdicament with Granger and Paul George.

I'm not on the trade-Granger-bandwagon by any means. But if we do, I say we trade him part of the way into the season. Paul George is developing very nicely, but between still young player mistakes sometimes, weird rotations, and his propensity to get in some trouble sometimes, I still like having someone of Granger's caliber on the wing out there with him. Depending on how George progresses into next season, then let's take a look at it.

Can we waive you? haha

I've had to read you say this like 1,000 times.

Lance Stephenson on the other hand.. He might get waived.

Couldn't have said it better. Not even as good as you :)

Granger on the Chicago Bulls would have been an Allstar. He can pretend to be Batman, but it doesn't look naturally. He is a Robin but a damn good one IMO.

Unless we can get a guy like Deron, Nash or even Rondo, I'm in favor of trading Granger for another quality player and give other players the opportunity to step up.

JO was part of a very divided locker room. I see no signs that Danny is about anything other than winning. it would take quite a deal to make me think trading him would make us better.
