I think we have to do it (at the right price) and we have to play him at SF with plenty of minutes for Favors.
Favors change our game. When he is in the game, rivals aren't scoring in the paint.
He need a good pg to feed him. With a passing pg like Nash or Stockton he would be an automatic 20 ppg dunking and dunking.

Re: Millsap open to re signing with Jazz
He's going to get 4 years, $52 million most likely on the market.
I don't think he can play SF with any regularity long-term and Al will also get big money and they play terrible defense together, so one probably has to be traded even though both have been great this year.

If he's not willing to come off the bench, he needs to go.......

Re: Millsap open to re signing with Jazz
If you can sign him for the right price then you do it.
Doesn't even matter if he won't come off the bench, you can still ship him out for something valuable in return later. Besides, Kanter is still another year or two away from being a starter so we could use him to start alongside Favors until then.
Not to mention that Millsap is everything you would want in a Jazz man.

I would trade Big Al this summer for whatever I could get. I would not extend Millsap now and simply allow him to play out the season then decide 2013 if we want and need him.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I agree... I'm for Al going out for a SF or PG help.
