First and foremost, I understand that we usually have gameday threads in regards to all other NBA games (non Knicks related), but I truly feel that this game between both the Magic and Bobcats deserves it's own thread. Playoff implications.

Obviously the Knicks must A.) take care of the Clippers here in MSG tonight and B.) Take care of the Bobcats in Charlotte tomorrow night. With all that said, with a Knicks victory tonight, along with an Orlando loss against Charlotte? We'll stand a strong chance of avoiding Miami during the first round, while matching up with the Pacers at the same time.

Some may say, there's no way the Magic lose to the 7-57 Bobcats. I'll have to agree to disagree. Yes, the Bobcats have been (and are) an NBA laughing stock joke, but the Magic have not only lost 10 of their last 14 games, but they're also on the verge of playing Charlotte tonight with 3 backups in Chris Duhon, Jason Richardson, and Glen Davis at the PG, SF and C position(s).

Yes, the Bobcats are a joke, but the Magic have lost 10 of their last 14 games and are playing tonight's game without Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkoglu and Dwight Howard. If Nelson does play tonight? Chances are, he'll be a shell of his usual self.

Here's to hoping that D.J. Augustin, Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson go off tonight.

Not a chance. If they lose to Charlotte tonight? There's no chance they beat the Grizz on the road in Memphis. It's all about tonight. Tonight decides our first round fate.

They might beat the Grizz, that would be Memphis last regular season game..I could see Memphis resting their starters

If Clips lose tonight, the Grizz will be playing for home court in the first round. Id so will definitely bring it against the Magic. We need a miracle from the Cats tonight.

To be frank the Grizzlies don't even have to try all that hard to beat a gimpy Magic team at home. They are superior team even with everyone on the Magic roster being healthy in my opinion.

There is actually ZERO reason the Grizzlies would rest their starters if the game was to matter to the Knicks.

Grizzlies Magic only matters to us if one of two things happen: We win and the Lolcats win. If that happens, then Memphis has a half game lead on the Clippers and would need to beat the Magic to claim home court over the Clippers...they would be trying and would destroy Orlando.

Yep...gonna be an interesting night. I hope the Lolcats show some pride tonight. They nearly beat Memphis the other night, maybe they can get it done against Orlando.
