Thanks, I hope you shut TJ Simers up. He's been a Clipper basher and Laker homer for his entire career until the Clippers acquired Chris Paul. Then, when things were going bad for the Clippers, he started attacking the team and now that the Clippers won Game 1, he's jumped back on to backing them again.
In terms of dismantling the Clippers, we'll see what happens. I'm just glad that we now have home court advantage.

The only issue I took on his take was that he made it personal with the people of the city. Calkins went after the Clippers and their TV guy (for specific incidents). He's playing off now as tongue in cheek, that's my style what not - but it really just wasn't that funny/intelligently written - more on the nanny nanny boo boo level. To point though, they only way to shut Slimers up is to beat the Clippers.
Don't get me wrong - I like banter. I just don't like it when it loses focus and turns personal.

Neither did Hasseltine yesterday on his show when he got livid at Simers for bring up Don Poier in this comment.
A plaque just outside the media room door pays tribute to Poier, the voice of the Grizzlies who passed away in 2005 after 10 dedicated years on the job.
Imagine how much more Memphians might have loved the guy had he been allowed to be on the job like Lawler -- three times as long.
