Wade playing with same leg injury

Post#1 » by Sign5 » Fri May 18, 2012 7:10 pm

that made him miss several games at the end of the season

Wade is dealing with lingering injuries that forced him to miss several games late in the regular season, and the Miami Heat guard required treatment in recent days for knee and leg soreness, sources told ESPN.com on Thursday.

Would explain why the guy didn't even attempt to drive.

If true he should be sitting out. We've seen in the past, he makes the team worse by playing injured because he distracts from Lebron. If he sat out it would put more pressure on Lebron to get it done, and that would be better for the team probably.

That was when we had Bosh, now Pacers can just double LeBron and force Chalmers to beat them if Wade sits.

Injury prone. I'm all about this team winning and if it means that trading Wade in order for that to happen while he still has some values, then so be it.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

I knew the way he was playing and his frustration looked familiar to games in the regular season when he tried to play hurt. He doesn't look good at all when he plays hurt. At this point they can just double Lebron and force everybody else to beat them. :(

This is BS Danny Granger has chronic knee pain which caused him to miss time this year you dont hear his handlers leaking info as a excuse. George Hill's shoulder isnt 100% same with Collison's groin you don't hear them complaining. Not to mention David West had ACL surgery less than a year ago he still wont be 100% for another year.

The Heat are so soft they aren't going to win until they get a real leader like a David West or a Kobe Bryant and guys who are tough and aren't know for flopping. Guys like Battier only made the heat softer but they need a leader that is the Heats number #1 problem outside of Indy just playing harder and wanting it much more.

The Heat have way to many prima donna's they need toughness. Chamlers is about the only player who is semi tough and brings a winning mentality.

Wade's issue is his jump shot it is broke and has been for a few months. When his jumpers is not broke it is just a average jumper at best but with his jumper mechanics broke he really has no options offensively except drive. It is something he must fix in the off season.

100% of the guys are dealing with injuries right now especially this season just sad to hear the excuses.

Ya'll can call this guy a troll and every other name in the book, but he's exactly right. Pay special attention to the bolded, yea we've got plenty of talent, but none of those guys are the get in your face kind of leaders a championship team needs. Now if the HEAD COACH commanded any sorta respect from the team, everyone could follow his lead, but since our coach is so incompetent nobody respects him. While at the same time nobody leads on the floor. Who brings the toughness? Danny f*ckin Granger gets in LeBron's face twice, where is UD at to be the enforcer? We let PUNKASS Danny Granger get in LeBron's grill and nobody did anything about it. David West pushes Chalmers in the chest, now Rio didnt back down cause he's not a punk, but still thats a PF on little Chalmers and nobody backed him up

Excuses. I don't buy it. Sorry.

Guess what, Al Harrington had a torn meniscus and played the entire first round 7 games and was very effective too.

Man up and show some **** heart. Gary Payton playing like 12 minutes per game in the Finals showed more heart that series than Wade is currently.

In other news, Wade is very honored to be shot by Annie Leibovitz, and if you don't know who that is, it's for Vogue. Man get the **** off with this fruity **** and get your head in the game.

BS, who isnt hurt?

For the good of the team, the heat needs to stop playing the excuse game and start showing some heart. Im tired of the "rest" excuse.

They should have had an extended practice today and not left the damn gym until they learned some frickin offense.

The stupidity in this thread is golden. It's like most people don't even think before they post.

And @Big Dee: It's a valid point, seeing how the adidas superstars obviously suffered injuries in part because of their shoes. Nevertheless, Wade doesn't only wear his Jordan for style. He gets paid millions to promote the brand and thus would get killed if he suddenly wears his old Converse shoes. I agree that they might be better for him, but it doesn't matter at this point.

@nets idiot: Don't you think that leg issues can coinicide with your jumper not falling since you don't have any lift if you do? Also, nobody is making an excuses, it's just being reported because we're the Heat and everything is being reported. Wade himself said he was fine, Spo didn't say anything, so I don't get why you idiot have the perception that we're soft. Wade has pushed himself through several injuries, can't say the same about the boy in your avatar.

Wade himself played with worse legs in the '06 Finals than he's doing now and was doing just fine. Remember when in game 3 he was limping on the court, yet pushed himself to one of his greatest performances? Back then, he had Riley to hold him accountable though.

Seriously .. age is looking like the big factor here and it's just so so sad. I wonder what type of player Wade would be right now if Lebron stayed in Cleveland and Bosh signed elsewhere. We would require 36-38 MPG from Wade......

way better conditioned and probably a better jump shooter since he would be forced to develop it.
