Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Danny Green
SF - Kawhi Leonard
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Boris Diaw

Thunder:
PG - Russell Westbrook
SG - Thabo Sefolosha
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Serge Ibaka
C - Kendrick Perkins

Conference Finals start on Sunday and the Thunder are going to be our biggest challenge so far this postseason.

This is going to be a very tough series for us. The Thunder are one team that can keep up with us in transition and they can score in bunchs.

Go Spurs!!

I was so confident during the series against Utah and Clippers because the spurs responded so well to all the threats that jazz (frontcourt) and clippers (Paul, Griffin, bench) could make to the spurs.

But there is a thing that scares me for the spurs.
The spurs have dominated the playoff so far and they are 18 win streak. I think this situation can be a problem because mentaly, to win so much in a raw can make you act stupid in the field playing the wrong way or just having a bad day and loose at home game 1 . But spurs have a lot of efficient players and popovic has so much experience that he will subtly with his words put his team in the right direction to win this series.

The truth is that the Spurs are better armed to win this serie than OKC but you never know what is going to happen and OKC have a lot of confident. Will OKC be shut by Spurs army? or will OKC with their enthousiasm, confidence and talent overcome spurs skills?

I bet on a 4-1 FOR SPURS.

I bet on 4-2. I just hope the Spurs don't give up homecourt advantage in this series. We might be able to survive losing homecourt in the first 2 rounds, but OKC is no slouch either. I truly don't expect us to sweep them.

While I think we're better, it's quite close.

This series is going to be awesome. I'm more excited for this than I was for LA or the Mavs.

Spurs in 6 unless both teams defend HC.

I think the depth, experience, and versatility up front compared to OKC's front-court, will really be the difference makers.

If they go small with Durant at the 4 a lot? That actually benefits us more, because that neutralizes one of their bigs, again. Similar to D-Jordan not playing for K-Mart or Evans. Duncan can take it easy on defense against Perkins or Ibaka who can't consistently make a jumpshot, and Ibaka can't create his own shot at all.

Sup guys, Dallas fan here.. jus dropping in to say I love the spurs game this year, and want to see them win this series and the finals if they should advance.

Developed a strong dislike for OKC this year, and just don't want to see such a young team win.

Always have respect for the trio, and this team is built to win a title. Good luck.

On a side note I cant believe how dead this thread is, spurs fans are used to being in the WCF I guess.... :-?

The Spurs did well to gut out a win on a night when open looks weren't falling like normal and when they turned over the ball like crazy early on, although Manu did a tremendous job. I'm cautiously optimistic that they'll produce slightly better results later on, but the series is still very interesting at this point.

Are you guys at all worried about Miami? Or do you think the Spurs are just too deep?

I'm more worried about the Thunder. Their size and shot blocking inside can cause some trouble for us, the Heat are going to have a ton of trouble trying to stop our defense.
