You forgot Shaq.
But seriously, at least mention where they were in their respective careers when they achieved those awards.

Unless these accolades coincide with a year they played with him, this is a major reach for his balls
Who gives a damn if boozer was an all star after he left Cleveland?

Surprised to see somebody who has joined since 2003 to make a thread of this quality.

Ah my bad. I don't see why he puts that constraint on yet fails to realize half the guys achieved this awards on different teams.
I'm a Celtic fan too, even I can see this guy is reaching

I didn't forget Shaq. Also, of course they achieved the award on different teams. That shows what they did in different systems.pross wrote:SVictor wrote:pross wrote:You forgot Shaq.

It's actually important that they didn't do it while they played with him. It shows what they could do in different systems and with different people on the team. The guys that did it while they were with Lebron are actually less relevant.Jazza2319 wrote:Unless these accolades coincide with a year they played with him, this is a major reach for his balls

If his teammates were so crappy, then why did he win 66-games and 61 games his last two years in Cleveland, and only 58 and 57 (equivalent) with supposed "superstar help" in Miami?o0dong wrote:LOOL, Ben Wallace, Larry Hughes, Eric Snow, Varejao and Wally, if anything it just shows how **** lebron's team mates really were in Cleveland

No.
Most of these guys apart from Wade/Bosh were past there primes.
Big Z (Just a solid role player, only an all-star due to lack of C's in the East)
Ben Wallace (you saw what he was like with Chicago prior)
Larry Hughes (really?)
Jamison (was bad in his last year with the Wizards)
Eric Snow (and people think Rondo's jump shot is bad? )
Wally (once again, well past his prime and was just terrible)
Mo Williams was an all-star after 3 people got injured and even then he wasn't exactly a hot pick

simple question, is it possible these guys either improved after playing with him in cleveland (boozer) or were at the tail-ends of their careers when they played with him (wally, ben wallace) ???

Yes.pross wrote:No.
Some were slightly past (but ONLY slightly), some were slightly before their prime, some were actually still in their prime, but mysteriously didn't produce that well. Most of these guys apart from Wade/Bosh were past there primes.
If Big Z was an All-Star due to lack of Centers in the East, then that means Cleveland had a big advantage at Center against other East teams. Wallace was slightly past his prime, but still averaged double-digit boards and 2 blocks per-36. Larry Hughes scored 22 points per game and was All-Defense before he went to Cleveland, and he was only in his late 20's both years he played for them. He was injured the first year but came back and played heavy minutes the next. Jamison was scoring 20-per directly before going to Cleveland. Eric Snow was at the tail end of his productive years but was always a defensive guy and never an athlete or scorer. Szczerbiak was 30 and 31 years old and still shooting over 40% from long range, I'm not sure what your reasoning is for him being past his prime.Big Z (Just a solid role player, only an all-star due to lack of C's in the East)
Ben Wallace (you saw what he was like with Chicago prior)
Larry Hughes (really?)

Furthermore, with these guys, Lebron won more games in the regular season than he did with Bosh and Wade, and I doubt you'll say Lebron is washed up, so clearly none of them are as bad as you'd like to believe.
