With his return announcement, should we sign him to say, possibly a one year?

Thoughts/comments?

I don't see him being capable of making any significant contribution for us.......

He's not going to be worth what some teams are willing to pay for him. I'd stay away if I were KOC.

I bet he signs with Phoenix.

Although, I'd love to see him come play for us. It would be the same idea behind the Tinsley and Josh Howard signings, you're playing money ball.

Only for a minimum, and a 1 year deal. He cant stay healthy. and at that rate Portland would take him back.

A spokesman from the NBA league office confirmed on Tuesday that the Blazers are not able to re-sign Roy until after the 2014-2015 season, as teams cannot re-sign players that were released via Amnesty Clause until after the full duration of the contract that was waived.

Trust me when I say that Portland fans wouldn't be upset with the signing. Basically the plan to get back at us would backfire. Now, if the Lakers sign him, all hell would break loose.

i'd give him the minimum.... but arguably other teams will offer the same or more, and he won't choose the jazz

This is not moneyball but disasterball. Washed up veterans that sign for the MLE just unanimously suck, not many savings involved.

Having perpetually injured players makes it easier to tank.
