My question is will he be running draft night if so let the good times roll, I am sure he will want to make a splash by pulling off a big trade or 2.

Joe, Josh, and Marvin to the front of the line baby

Hes going to have a good portion of control. And no were not trading joe at all. Josh and Marvin are the only 2. I hope we trade Josh for a player and a pick. I wish for us to select andre drummond if we move up to 5th.

Yes to Drummond but I would rather trade Joe than Josh or even Marvin to be honest

I understand but id rather not have our organization paying joe while hes off the team 20,000 a year. Id rather have him on the team and earning that money. Marvin n Josh must go.

So we can have a regular starting 5 with moving al back to the 4 and having a better 3 and 5. And i hope D Ferry can make a nice bench

So, you think Ferry is the type that would trade Josh for #5 by draft night?

That has been the case for some time. Josh and his antics, Marvin and his inconsistency, Joe and his lack of leadership coupled with too many no shows in big times.

Well we have our chance to get rid off 2 out of 3. I can handle Joe Johnson. His clutch is making the money

Nothing done yet though... patience, until he is here hopefully before draft day, it is sytill the old Hawks team!...even when he is there, it will take a lot of creativity and / or persusasion towrads ownership to reshape that team...

Hoo-------ray!

The one thing you have to commend Ferry for in Cleveland was his willingness to be proactive. No sitting and waiting, and remaining stagnant when something isn't working out.

I look forward dissecting each and every move of his over the next 6 years.

Hawks fans just got a solid GM. I can't wait to see what Ferry does without having to deal with the drama of having to appease a megastar like LeBron.

Ferry is cerebral, not afraid to take risks and will fix his mistakes.

I look forward to what he does this Thursday. I won't pass final judgement on him because it is a short time frame and realistically you can't expect much in his first year but if he comes out swinging from draft night it would be a pleasant surprise.

I think he has to make a splash. Hopefully, he can rob the world and get us Drummond without moving Josh or Al. If not, I would not mind seeing Josh, Joe, Marvin, and even Teague go to upgrade this team immediately.

What he needs to do is

1) dust off the scouting department, expand it some, even update the computers from the old Caleco they have sitting in there now that way the team can find Splitter's and Parker's not Sy's and Gladyr's.

2) bring over whoever or whatever program they have running in SA that teaches guys how to shoot. More than a few guys that either need to refind their touch or discover one in the first place on this squad.

I'll hold any excitement on trades just yet but I'll definitely expect those moves to be made.

If Drummond is there at 7 you have to offer Joe and Zaza for #7 Biedrins and Richard Jefferson.

Ferry is not the type of GM to make a splash just for the sake of it.

Trading Joe for Drummond is not a move just for the sake of one. Trading Josh for picks is not a move just to be made considering he is playing out of position and may not resign
