i liked that he can get buckets and wasnt lazy and had a winning additude
i disliked that he wasnt a wide open spot shooter at times and would cause wall to struggle

Probably Seraphin.
We haven't seen a low post bigman on the wizards that exuded a competent low post game in a long time, so it was a pleasant surprise. That and he seems to play the right way.
He makes some silly turnovers at times, but he can overcome that, my only real concern is his rebounding.

Trevor Booker.
I love his attitude, his work ethic, his steady improvement, and the fact that he's a physical player. He's the complete opposite of Blatche in every way. He knows exactly what he can do and does it. And he knows exactly what he can't do and doesn't try to do it.

By the way, Knight, in future I feel like it would be a good idea to lead in with your own pick and explanation to set a tone for the thread and let it be known that there is to be effort put into posts therein. Of course this never does me any good but still, you try you know?

Love myself some Wall but he frustrates me as much as he amazes me sometimes.
So I'll go with Nene, who basically changed the culture of the Wizards when he first took the floor.
The guy doesn't really have a glaring weakness to his game -- solid on both ends of the court, able to post up, hit the mid-range jumper, pass, set solid screens, space the court properly, etc. On defense, he can guard PF or C and makes the correct defensive rotations.

Disliked Javale the most. Just got sick of him by the end on and off the court. Not a bad kid but just immature as a player.
Liked the improvement of Seraphin, who really surprised me. He looked kind of big and doughy when he first arrived . I wasn't sure what we had when EG drafted him and then Flip never used him. His development made Flip look awful for not playing him and Randy look like a genius for benching Blatch and letting the big Frenchman play.

I like Edwin Ubiles, too, because he made Morris Almond really have a chance to stick with the Wizards. Mo was far more effective than Edwin.

I love what happened after the Wizards added Morris Almond.
The player whose improvement impressed me the most was Kevin Seraphin.
I also enjoyed the way Jan Vesely played at the end of the year. I love high IQ basketball players.
If I had to pick just one player, I would say James Singleton. He really brought it every game.
(Morris Almond if you play your best offense this summer league and play the same defense you played those 4 games, you will defy the odds and make the 2012-2013 Wizards. If they don't invite you back this preseason, you will stick with another team).
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Seraphim!! It was nice to finally see a physical and bulky center playing for DC. He held his own and wasn't intimidated by any of the big name centers.

Has to be Seraphin with Wall second. I loved how hard Kevin worked to improved his game and he shined when he got his chance.

loved the way Kevin learned and used the pull the chair defense multiple times
over the season.
nothing makes me smile more than the other team's C trying to back Kev down
only to end up falling on his arse. You gotta be strong and light on your feet
to pull that move off.
Wall is always entertaining as a one man fast break.
Vesely as the human monkey wrench on defense
Booker for getting a metric F-ton (my older daughter's fav expression lol) of boards
when we beat the Fakers.

Booker was my favorite Wizard this past season. He worked hard and was productive. Him overcoming his limitations makes him easy to cheer for as a fan. However I think in the long-term it may be best to deal him for a more complete player.

Seraphin for sure. Back in feb i felt like all he really needed was experience. I just wasn't expecting him to get it so soon.
He already showed good defense but when he starting shooting jump hooks left handed i was like
Obviously he needs to improve his rebounding but what bugged me is that he doesn't take it to the rim with bad intentions. He settles for quick touch shots too often. As big as he is he should be looking to bull his way to the basket more. That is the key for him to be an all around scorer.
