JUST SAY NO!

To the Nets. do you want another superteam to compete with for the next 5 years plus. Wouldn't you rather have D12 team up with Irving?

Nah, I'd rather have Bynum team up with Kyrie, ideally we have our own center that's dominating the league, if we can get another pick from the D12 fukery, then go right up.

No one expects Cleveland to be competing for at least 2-3 years, so I would rather take my chances on our young guns vs. the Nets aged roster when the Cavs are ready to compete.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Why are we trying to get Humphries again? Sure we need some big man depth, but couldn't we just sign him then? What is this deal thing about?

That is crap, He's not worth a first and we don't need to unload Walton.

I did the math in another thread, this comes down to us paying 1.6m for a first rounder and having a competent basketball player who can be a trade asset.

If its a one year contract then this is a no brainer, make the deal, collect another asset, move him at the deadline if you can to get another asset. If not, he is one and done and you havent affected your capspace for the offseason.

It would be nice to have Dwight, but he's not interested. Maybe Bynum is and that would be great.
As for the superteam concept it really doesn't matter if there are one or two. You only need one to stop us from getting to the finals and having more than one won't change that.

We're at least three years away and who knows what Wade's knees or Howard's back looks like by then. It doesn't change the end result for us so I'd just as well see them slug it out.
