they are already a dangerous team with nash, but if they get howard it could put a stop to a potential heat dynasty.

do you think the lakers will be a serious threat to the heat?

Why would I be? First of all, they haven't even acquired Dwight yet and even if they do, we don't know what the terms of the deal would be. Losing Pau and Bynum, for example, would make the Lakers weaker than if they only had to give up Bynum. Plus, there's no point in worrying about teams out West until they actually make it out of the West, I think OKC still would match up very well with the Lakers and I would probably put OKC as the WC favorites even if a Dwight deal did go through.

No. We have the best player on the planet by a large margin. And number 2 isn't on the Lakers either.

More worried about OKC if they continue to develop. KD is the only serious challenger to Lebron, besides Wade.

There is no denying that would be a powerful team. To be honest, i think it would be pretty damn exciting to face off against them. Great ballin.

As for putting all these guys together, you never know. But im intrigued at the matchups, and the possibility of another nba super squad.

I think Bynum's agent has already nuked a lot of the Cavs trade talk.

Lakers become a serious problem if they get Dwight, but not one that we couldn't overcome.

Fortunately for us, Dwight has never been that skilled on offense. It also helps us that he's spending the majority of his offseason recovering from back surgery rather than working on developing post moves.

I think outside of Dwight, this new Lakers team would have very little defense. I don't see how they Guard Lebron and Dwyane with their new lineup. They also still have no bench, so is Kobe going to be playing 37 minutes a game?

Not to mention, Nash works best with shooters to pass to. Who are the shooters for the lakers?

They're a good team, it'd be a challenge, but I think we could take them, especially if Dwyane comes back healthy this season and with an improved shot. That would be magical. I wish Dwyane could just dominate Kobe next season if Kobe tries to guard him.
