Jays held tight to Aaron Shanchez at deadline

realgm says there were all kinds of offers for Aaron Sanchez to the Jays this deadline, but AA didnt even need to think twice.

he is probably the BEST prospect in the JAYS system after D'Arnaud........ screw the rankings

I guess I have to keep an eye out for him then! Is he supposed to be called up anytime soon like next season?

He's not even in Dunedin yet, so barring a Hutchison/Alvarez situation (where a guy gets called up prematurely due to no other available options) there's no way we see him next season.
He'll be in high-A ball next season, MAYBE getting a call-up to New Hampshire during the season. If he is absolutely lights-out in NH and the Jays are in a pennant race and could use another starter, I guess there's a chance we could see him next season. But probably not.
Don't plan on him being in the big leagues before 2015.
