Hey everyone,
Im starting a new keeper league with 12 friends of mine, we have our original team from last year and we can keep a max 3 players.
I have a question in drafting, if we finalize our 3 draft picks depending on where those players are slotted? for example O-Rank has Paul George at 30ish does that mean he would be gone on the 3rd rd to whoever chose to keep him?
Thanks

Basically, yes. In my league, we base the keeper on where he was taken last year. If a player was taken in the 5th round last year, he will cost a 5-th round pick to keep. If a free agent, then the last round pick. Say you have 2 guys from the 6th round, then one of the guys will be kept at a 5th round. And since I don't' want a GM to horde a player for 5 years, we also increase the cost of a keeper every year (6th this year, 5th next year, etc).
You can also put in maximum number of years a player can be kept, in order to promote league balance and player movement. It's really all up to you
