Hi all, Haven't been on here for awhile but have been reading all the posts.... I have a quick question. How were we able to sign Mirza to a 3 year 9.5 mill contract but not offer the same money to Green? Apologies if this has been discussed already or needs to be merged...

We chose to use it on Mirza, we could have given it to Green.
But rumor from a reliable source is Green's agent tried to strong arm $5 mill a year out of the Nets for Green, which we couldn't give him, then when Green got no offers bigger then what he got from Indy he signed there because the bridge was burned here and the Taxpayer's MLE was already promised to Mirza.
