Player of the Game vs Orlando

Didn't watch this one so basing it off of stats

Al Horford (2)
Josh Smith (1)
Kyle Korver (1)

Notes: Al Horford had a game high 15 points and had 9 rebounds, he went a solid 6-11; Lou Williams came off the bench and was a spark plug going 6-12 and getting 14 points, he was the only player other than Al to get double digits; Zaza Pachulia went 3-5 and had a solid 8 points, but he's on this list because he got 11 rebounds (3 offensive), he was the only player on our team to get double digit rebounds; Ivan Johnson was another solid contributor off the bench getting 9 points and 8 rebounds. We had 3 players get near double doubles.

Just missed the cut:
Jeff Teague: 9 points and 7 assists

What I'd like to see: I'd like to see Josh shoot more than 30% from the floor, the worst part of his game tonight was that he only had 2 rebounds!! 2!! I'd also like to see Korver shoot better than 2-11 and 1-6 from 3, if he's gonna get 11 shots then he needs to make more than half of them. And, I've been preaching this for a while now, Drew needs to give Jenkins a chance, give the rookie more than just 5 garbage time minutes

Gotta go with Al. He was consistent throughout and when the rooks and Tolliver were blowing the lead he came back in and put the nail in the coffin. Louis got a lot of garbage minutes too so disregard his totals, he was running point and chucking with the scrubs when the lead dissipated. Josh was a lost puppy, airballed a FT wide left to start the game and besides a lil spurt in the 3rd couldn't find his way. Should be noted that LD sat him in the 4th. I guess Korver got shaken up from actually having to create his offense on a few plays. He got blocked on a fastbreak layup attempt and missed a few runners off of pump fakes. Zaza and Ivan were raking in everything off the bench and Teague had the sequence of the year blocking a Redick jumper, saving the block out of bounds, trailing the fastbreak, having an open 3, driving instead and throwing a lob to Al for the assist.

On a day when most everyone was terrible, Teague and Horford were the least awful players.

Horford gets my vote as he was probably the most effective (and best) player on the floor tonight. For either team.

I'll chalk our performance up to fatigue after a long, arduous trip.

AL missed out on a double-double as Drew let scrubs play a fair amount in the 2nd half as the team had a big lead.

Teague missed out on a double-double because noone could finish his fantastic passes with buckets.
But just ugly all the way through.

Also, acquiring Ivan Johnson might be the single best move Sund made as GM.

Diamond in the rough, no doubt...

It was for sure one of the better things he did. He seemed to just sit on his hands during most of his time with us, Ferry came in and cleaned house, all while still making us an overall solid team.
