^Sucks. We have played 4 point guards in the first half. Just because we have 3 little chuckers doesn't mean we have to play all of them. Reke still mia...

Demarcus should just show his penis to the refs. Just because.

Joke of a call, of course Cousins gets thrown out but Kobe and the rest of the league would have been able to talk to the ref all day and not get one T.

I like the Brooks & Salmons insertion so far *gasp*

Have Reke control the ball and spread the floor with shooters. It's been decent.

Good win.

A really solid game over all. Offense was great and D was good enough in important moments (helped out by the Jazz's currently terrible PG rotation). Ball is moving, players are moving, and Tyreke looks like he may have grown a pair again (but I'm definitely not saying that's for sure happening yet).

Smart actually had decent rotaions today. Reke came in with 8 mins left instead of the last 4. Also Brooks looked pretty mad in the second quarter sitting on the bench. The Brooks/Evans/Salmons front court seems to be working well.

Hate to be that guy, but I called it in terms of Brooks getting the starting job and being our primary PG. He can shoot as well as Thornton and Jimmer from the outside, and he has better handles and passing skills than IT. Loved the pickup initially and I'm loving it now. Now if only my T-Rob prediction would come true...

Cousins' slam on Favors, though...

And Tyreke with back-to-back excellent games. I hope he's turned a corner.

Not sure if I would say that, but Brooks certainly fits much better next to Tyreke. Tyreke needs to be the primary ball handler, and Brooks' skill set allows him to do that. Brooks is the "PG", but he doesn't always need the ball to be effective, which is perfect for Tyreke.

I too like the signing.

I said this when the signing took place; the thing is Fredette & Thornton compliment Reke also. I think it is time to let Reke prove if he can be the man with the ball in his hand. He has put in the work and has shown that he has grown a little as far as sharing the ball. I think the Kings got caught up into listening to the media and people outside of the organization and forgot that Reke was still a young player that had to work through bad habits he developed after years of being the best player on all his team with free rein to shoot as much as he wanted. It didn't helped that he arrived in Sacramento and basically had free rein again. It took time to adjust but he is and it is a good thing.

The DeMarcus toss was flat out ridiculous.

If you notice, he was tossed for NOT SAYING ANYTHING.

He had a facial expression like he's gonna talk back - but then held himself in check as if saying "argh, not worth it, nvm" - and the ref tossed him for THAT.

I mean, seriously. The treatment he receives from the refs compared to other players is just flat out disgusting.

All that being said - he really needs to just let it go more often. I mean, come on man =/.

I really like how in that 3rd quarter we really went to him time and time again to be that playmaker on the floor, like he was under Westfail late his rookie season (although that was mainly from the block back then, yesterday he did it pretty much from 5-6 diff spots on the floor which was more impressive).

I really hope we do that alot more often. DeMarcus the last year orso has been a MASSIVE blackhole, which clearly isn't who he usually is and what he showed us early in his career - those simple extra passes instead of forcing a ridiculous shot, or getting an offensive foul, will help him ALOT in terms of getting better fg% and improving his efficiency on the floor.

Long may that trend continue.

No, that toss was in fact BS. I was watching carefully. He was talking to the ref after the initial tech (which was VERY arguable). The ref told him to walk away, and he did. And then he got tossed as he was walking away. I know the guy needs to argue a lot less in general, but that was complete sh*t. I found myself muttering to myself what I would have yelled at the ref had I been sitting courtside.
