Great thread as usual SD! Of all the games this season, I always get extra hyped when the Magic play the Spurs. Keep in mind that the Spurs play the Heat tomorrow. If we can somehow pounce on these guys early, Pop may concede and empty the bench early to rest his main rotation. The problem though is that the Spurs are deep so we'll have to play hard no matter the situation...LET'S GET IT!!! 8-)

Will be in attendance, hoping we at least keep things close but I have a feeling this one will be ugly pretty quickly. Either way, still cheering for the boys in blue and white!

If we get off to a effective start and don't make this game easy for the Spurs. We stand a chance. If we lose, I rather go down fighting than be done in like the Spurs did to the Wizards.

Am I the only one who wants us to lose everygame. winning does nothing for us , i dont want to be stuck in mediocrity. i see us win, then the fan in me is happy but the brain says what the hell are you guys doing. We got to beat out Washington in losses.

One does not simply try to loose to the Spurs, they will beat you on your best day.

well you got to remember we're not only trying to rebuild this thing through the Draft we would like to attract Free Agents as well. Not sure if they would want to go to a win-less team, the way i see it we compete enough to kill two birds with one stone. we stay in the lottery and we win enough to show Free Agents we can still be competitive and that they might be the Free Agent that could get us over the hump.

I don't want my young guys to get used to losing or getting the signal from the front-office that we don't care.

+1

First year coach and first year GM on the job... I don't think they are trying to lose every game

I wish I was going to the game tonight.. I went last year vs the Spurs and it was a great game. It was a close one and JJ hit a shot like a half second after the buzzer. I expect tonights game to be close.

That kind of mentality simply destroys your young talent. Look at Washington, that is a loser team not a losing team.

Losing isn't a big deal. Not playing your hardest is. As long as they play their hearts out, I don't care if they go 10-72.

Wanting to lose is different then just losing. Many hall of farmers had awful first/second year win/loss records and went on to do just fine.

And which players on our roster are future HOFers?
