im thinking more realistically.. if that's the case i wouldve said CP3 Rudy Gay Clay Thompson wit D12 lol.. young fresh legs to come off the bench an provide that much needed energy. something we dont have cuz were the oldest freaking team in the league smh

Derrick Williams super athletic and a combo at the 3 and 4 and I completely agree with DJO we shudda been giving him minutes at PG not Morris all Morris can do is play d! His decision making is worse than mettas

Laker's will always be old and slow.

Laker's won't be in a position to consistently draft great youth, simply because LA won't be able to stand not winning for a season or two.

Laker's wont ever be able to trade for any young players because all the assets the Laker's have are old, veteran, "star" players on large contracts...meaning a team trading away young players/rookie contracts will have to send out a lot more salary to make the salaries work...meaning likely a large bad contract (if it was a large good contract they wouldn't have been in the position to draft that rookie). AND you would have to trade for upside. If you traded a player like Pau to obtain younger players, those younger players would most likely be worse than Pau...otherwise why would a team trade them away? Younger. Cheaper contract. And equal production? Not going to happen.

Until Kobe retires, this is how the team is constructed.
