Billups recieved a warning from the NBA about flopping after his big 3 flop that cost us the game. At least we get some condolescents that the NBA realized the refs missed it.
But it still hurts to lose by 1 point with all the bad calls. Especially with 3 free throws on a flop.

He'd do it again 10 of out 10 times to get them the win.

Yeah.... he (or the refs) deceided the game with that call.
We don't know if we'll miss the playoff (maybe for one game).... I know, it's soon and it's in our hands, but I hope not to remind anymore this game.

Pretty much sums it up. That's exactly the problem with the new flopping policy. You only get a warning for the first flop and it seems like the chances of even getting a warning are pretty damn slim. That's hardly a sufficient deterrent to prevent guys from flopping in situations where flopping can have a significant impact on the game.
My question is, why do guys even get warnings? It's not like egregious floppers (i.e., the whole Clippers team) aren't aware that they flop.

At least they're getting onto an official list of floppers. That's gotta hurt their credibility with the refs on the court.
Guys who get fined are going to get fewer calls going their way in the future. At least that's how I look at it.

In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

So Utah loses a home game to conference opponent, and Billups basically gets told not to do it again. Should be a big fine or suspension without pay for a game for a flop of this magnitude.

I was just telling you what the rule's effect is. It's not just telling him not to do it again. It' means he won't get calls in the future since he's on the official black list.
If we want the rule to do more than that, then we need a better rule.
