Chauncey to miss another 2+ weeks

Chauncey Billups (foot) likely out two weeks

Chauncey Billups (foot) will likely be out for about two weeks.
Although Billups' foot injury is not related to his Achilles injury, Mr. Big Shot is suffering from "peroneal tendinitis in his left foot." The Clippers are not putting a timetable on Billups' return, an indication that he could be out for longer than two weeks. With Billups again sidelined, Willie Green will likely start with Eric Bledsoe, Matt Barnes and Jamal Crawford picking up more time as well.

When I heard there wasn't a time table on his return I figured he would be out a little bit. We've shown that we can still play well without Chauncey, we just turn it over more. (for what ever reason)
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The more floor generals the better always cleans up on team errors. I'm starting to get little worried with Willie being said to also being hurt but being able to play through the pain. We have a favorable road ahead but we still need to be ready for anything. If Hill or even Thompkins could find their way back it would be a boost.

Interested outside observer...

Any chance this leads to a starting/larger role for Bledsoe? Obviously, he'll get more minutes than if Billups was playing, but will he get starting minutes, so Green can play more as a pure backup, and not inflame whatever he's carrying?

I think y'all will be just fine. Plus, it's not like Billups is gone, I regularly see him on the sidelines schooling dudes. His brain and basketball IQ are worth the money he's making; if he can get some action on court this season, it'll be all the better.
