Who's #3?

**This about who is better right now, not when healthy. We will run this again toward the end of the season and if injured players are more healthy and playing better at that time, we will rank them accordingly.**

Dwight, easily. Not even close in fact, at least for me.

This guy is probably playing at about 80% max right now and is still at worst a leader in a debate with other great players. That to me speaks volumes.

I actually think it's CP3.

He's basically Deron...with better shooting, better passing, better ball handling, better defense, and more aggressiveness.

Right now, Dwight's not very good. Neither is Wade. Kobe is putting up nice stats...but I kind of think the Lakers are sucking right now partly because he's getting his and nobody else is.

So I'm voting for CP3.

It's hard for me.

If healthy, it's Dwight, but right now not only is he not fully healthy, his effectiveness is largely being negated due to the system they're playing. Obviously, his individual defense is still really good, but he should also be leading the team defense, which has been pretty bad this season.

With all that said, Dwight is a beast.
-------------------------
On the other hand, CP3 is the clear leader of his team.

Putting up 16.1/9.5 and 2.7spg in only 33mpg. And as you said, he ranks higher than D-Will in every important statistical category for a PG except for PPG, and that's only because D-Will takes takes more shots per game.
And even though D-Will takes more shots per game, CP3 makes more shots per game than D-Will does.

CP3: 5.7/11/7 FGM/FGA
D-Will: 5.5/14.1 FGM/FGA

It's not even close anymore. CP3 is playing significantly better.

It's a toss up between D12 and CP3 for me. If Dwight was healthy and he was really leading the Lakers, I think it would be more of a no brainer.

Kobe. He's still dominating games even with Howard on his team.

Are we basing this on "as of right now" or "when healthy"?

Because as of right now, I'm a little confused as to how Dwight would rank over CP3. Dwight is very clearly someone you can't run a successful offense through unless you use a super-gimmicky offense. And his defense hasn't been good at all this year. LA's defense isn't even top 10 right now, and was actually in the bottom 10 for much of the year. Lakers fans have complained all year about poor defense from Howard, and he has let opposing centers light him up quite a few times already.

I think he's been really poor, by his standards, this year. Still a great player, still a top 5 player in fact, but I can't rank him over CP3. CP3 hasn't been playing up to snuff either, but he's still extremely efficient, he's still excellent at taking care of the ball, and he's once again leading a really high quality offense with the Clippers.
