Please help with this trade

8 cat yahoo league, 14 people.
My Joe Johnson+Deng for his Dirk+ Gallo.
No one knows what stats Dirk will be getting after his first knee surgery and if he'd rather deffer to Mayo and become 2nd option. Is it worth the risk? Also, will Gallo be more productive later in the season?
