WHO can we get for Jordan Hill?

Post#1 » by thegamefritz » Fri Dec 21, 2012 8:38 pm

I HATE THAT Dantoni is not using Jordan Hill!! I like Jordan hill's game, he works hard, he rebound and he can score if given a chance and he is a legit PF! I know juring off season Hill's value was up esp. his performance in the Playoffs last year! so now if we ain't trading Gasol because his value is not that high anymore and he ain't young plus nash wants him in the roster then we still need a shooter or a stretch 4 and or young athletic player then I guess as much as I hate it, Jordan Hill must go coz we ain't using him!

I want
AK47 or Derrick Williams for him
Channing Frye would have been great but he is injured!
Byron Mullens and fillers

I'm all for improving the team by trading hill even though he took less money to resign with the Lakers, oh well thems the breaks or that is the breakdown

Sad to see our only legit hardworking big man is not getting minutes. D'Antoni can talk about him coaching defense all he wants, but he is not helping his case at all. I still don't understand why we would play small lineups. We are old, unathletic, but we have a big front court. We should not try running with OKC and Miami, we should be banging them in the post every single time down the floor and slow down the pace.

We couldn't control the pace even if we wanted to.

Yeah I understand wanting to play bigger lineups, but we need to be careful that we're not too slow either. A bunch of slow players doesn't ensure a slow-paced half-court game, it ensures a lot of transition baskets for the other team.

Wouldn't mind Corey Brewer or Gerarld Green, both have been stroking it from outside and are explosive athletes. I'd even take Beasley off the Suns hands if they'd take Blake with them and Dorell Wright is also an option.

I think I want D'Antoni fired before wanting anyone traded from this team.

He took a pay cut to stay in LAL. Can't trade him after such a righteous move.

No reason to trade Hill. Need him as a backup C. As soon as Pau is traded, he will get backup C minutes.

I'd be good with Dorell Wright

Like Hill a lot,but if coach doesn't play him,at least get a decent player in return

Its not right that Hill isn't getting the minutes he deserves, We should really keep him he could be our starting PF when Pau leaves wether thats through trade or his contract is finished.

1.) D.will from minny

2.) Or I would try to get a decent pg, that's expiring. A long shot would be hill, earl Clark, morris for calderon.

3.) I'm sure we can get Harris from atl since they need a big man. hill, Blake, morris for Harris

4.) One other shot would be hill and morris or beno udrih/dalembert.

5.) I would try dorrell wright for a smaller price than trading hill.. Earl Clark, ebanks, and morris for wright.

And if we trade Hill who becomes our backup C if Pau's tendinitis acts up again? Or Dwight gets hurt?

Package him with Gasol to ATL for Smith and Korver.

Keep Ron off the bench as planned.

Start:
Nash
Korver
Kobe
Smith
Dwight

Bench:
Duhon
Meeks
Ebanks
Metta
Jamison

Ignore:
Morris
Blake
Sacre
