GT: Spurs vs. Bucks

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Jan 2, 2013 11:06 pm

When: 8:00 PM ET, January 2, 2013
Where: BMO Harris Bradley Center, Milwaukee

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Danny Green
SF - Kahwi Leonard
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Tiago Splitter

Bucks:
PG - Brandon Jennings
SG - Monta Ellis
SF - Marquis Daniels
PF - Luc Richard Mbah a Moute
C - Larry Sanders

Well should be a good one tonight in Milwaukee. The Bucks are a rather interesting team, they have two very talented guards who can score at will and a lot of gritty defenders.

Go Spurs!!

I really like the groove we're in. And personally, I like our rotation when Neal was out. We basically played a shorten 8 man lineup with Diaw, Jackson, and Manu off the bench. The backup PG position should be situational right now that no one really wins the position. Patty Mills always play well when he gets the minutes and he looks really good when he's guarding quick small guys. Gary struggle with those guys. But when guarding bigger PGs (Andre Miller type), then Neal is the guy to go with.

Blair's not giving anyone a case to get playing time right now. He's not finishing shots around the rim, he's making mistakes defensively and fouling, he's not snatching rebounds like crazy either.

For Milwaukee, I like Sanders. Makes me wish we have more shotblocker other than Duncan. We can really use one of those wiry long athletic bigs. John Henson had a huge night but that kid looks weird to me. He's athletic but he runs weird, walks weird, jumps weird, even looks weird. But he got it done tonight.

Jennings had a lot of points but I didn't really feel it effected the game at all. Not sure why.

Damn Nolan... I just came from the Knicks board to see what the Spurs game thread was talking about. (my first time doing such a thing.)

I'm sorry, buddy. Seems like you have a boring job over here. Come on over to the Knicks/Spurs GT.... it's fun...

We have it all...

-Insightful commentary on game play
-Fap worthy pics of girls from local commercial tv spots
-Petty arguments over role players deserving less/more time
