Rightfully so. This team has the nucleus to contend for the playoffs and perhaps the finals if they play well enough to get that far. The West is very tight and the last thing the Grizz need to do is dowgrade on talent. Right now, ride the ship and see what happens in the playoffs. If things go well, then great. If not, look at better options.

Oh thank you to CEO.
Grizzlies lost horrible last 2 games because rumor really killed our team.

I don't know if it was entirely the trade talks that killed our team. Rudy was out last game, no? With Pondexter out as well, we were limited at the wing to say the least.

Yeah when you're playing Darrell Arthur and Josh Selby on the wing the results will probably not be very good.

He's safe as long as we are winning, but a few more nights like last night and nobody will be safe if a decent deal presents itself.

I still believe in this squad. But, I think that next year may be the year to blow up the team if we get bounced in the first round again.

What seems to be the problem in these losses? I haven't been able to see these games.

Well it's strange but it seems like they're in it for the first quarter and even for the entire first half of Wednesday's game but then a letdown occurs. The bench comes out and they lose their intensity and then the starters come back in and it gets even worse. In Dallas I gave them a pass since it was affter and OT and a back-to-back on the road. They looked like **** though. The comment was made at the half of the Spurs game though, in which the Spurs took a 3 pt lead into the half, that no defense was being played and both teams shooting 60% or better. 2nd half the spurs buckled down and stopped the Grizzlies whereas the Spurs just kept getting easy looks. I'm watching the highlights of that game and the Kahwi Leonard 3 at half it's Rudy Gay on him and he dares him to shoot. He just holds his hand out and is guarding dribble penetration. But the clock is expiring - HE HAS TO SHOOT. Rudy never leaves his feet and Leonard drains it. All the Grizzlies had their heads down and upset going in. They had worked so hard to tie the game just before that happened then just let an easy bucket give the Spurs a 3 pt lead. I think those little turning points are initializing the breakdown but then mentally they let themselves fall into a hole afterwards. Tony Allen and Mike Conley commented that "we can't let one big play affect us" like it has. So if you rewatch those games you can see exactly where those moments happen where they just crumble after a play or two goes bad.
