Wait to trade P Gasol?

Post#1 » by smooveroots » Sat Jan 19, 2013 8:18 pm

Yahoo H2H, 9Cat, 12 teams

Should i wait until he get's hot or try to trade him now while his name is buzzing right now, i have been getting offers for Gasol. I am looking for another big for rebounds and blocks or maybe a 3 point specialist (Delfino has been helping my team a lot but inconsistent) these are the names I was thinking of trading for

Bigs

Drummond
Vucevic
West
Brow????? Not sure about Brow
Hickson

Smalls

Dudley
Klay
J.R. Smith
W Matthews
Reddick
MWP
R Anderson

Pek is out for ten days so I was more leaning towards another big for blocks & rebounds but take a look at my team below and let me know which is the better route for me to take since I want to trade Pau. In this league you start two centers!!!

I'd do Gasol for Drummond.

I'd give Gasol maybe two more weeks to see if he can shape it up. But I'm inclined to give up on him right now. Don't foresee a trade; too hard to make the salaries match up. Lakers would have to dump him. But stranger things have happened.

lol @ getting Brow/Vuc/West. I'd rather keep Pau and hope for a trade than go after Hickson. At this point in the season imo it's more about upside... You're either a player or you're not. If you are a player, you've gotten to this point w/ Pau being mediocre, and it's time to focus on the playoffs. If you're not, you need a hope and a prayer -- which Pau provides and Hickson does not.
