Suns trade inquiry here

Post#1 » by exSunsFan » Mon Jan 21, 2013 3:10 pm

I come in peace

Let me know what would work and what wouldn't . Thanks

Suns : gortat , Dudley , and either Marshall or lakers lotto 1st or markieff morris

For

Utah: favors, burks or bell ,Marvin Williams

This gets you rid of Williams contract . I know favors is a upcoming stud but then you get Dudley and gortat. This will let you keep millsap and kAnter (develop behind gortat)

This gives the suns a future athletic big and youth and a decent sf to replace dudley

You want Favors and don't include your own 1st rounder?
Even then, everybody here says no,no,no!

Would you trade Dudley/Marshall for Millsap?

Favors and Hayward are the 2 Jazz players who are untradeable
Play with the Pass, Play with a Purpose, and Play with Pace along with Obvious Unselfishness....Coach Snyder says the sky is purple than Jazz players say nice purple sky! LONG LIVE THE MAD SCIENTIST!!!!

Actually I like that

Marshall/Dudley for millsap

Only problem is he may be overpaid next year which is a risk

What would u do for millsap and burks?

Horrible value for Favors but Millsap and burks could be duable.

Millsap/Burks/GS pick

for

Dudley/Marshall/Lakers 1st rounder, 2013 and 2014 2nd and a future unprotected 1st

That's a lot of value for a free agent in millsap

Also how is

Gortat, Dudley, Marshall or markieff lakers 1st lotto

Bad value for favors? Favors is strictly potential and has shined in moments but not in all moments

Ur trade would work

Dudley Marshall and lakers 1st and 2nd

For millsap burks and gs 1st

Why wouldn't the Suns simply sign Sap in a couple months? Championship run?

It's horrific value for Favors. Its pretty much a given once he gets starter minutes his numbers will jump dramatically. You need the minutes to put up stats.

Why does everyone come here wanting to trade for Favors, then say "whatever, he's not that good anyway" when we explain that we want to keep him?

when did I say he is not that good? I said based off potential. Which is true because he is hardly given minutes?

All I know is if he was on the suns or any other team he would be getting 30+ minutes a game

Well Favors minutes are low mainly because he fouls too much which is the same reason the bulls kept limiting tyson chandler's minutes. Despite that (although many jazz fans kinda brush off how detrimental his massive fouling can be), we see how effective he can be on defense everyday so we value him accordingly.

Other team fans will like his potential but will low ball you since the many good things he's doing defensively that we see are not showing up on the stats. Plus him not playing alot brings down his value since other team are like well if he's so good now then why isn't he playing? Well the FO wants to win as many games as possible and its so they sign and play more experienced vets rather than young guys who are still learning the game.

1) giving minutes to young guys over established vets ruins team chemistry
2) this will cause Milsap/Al jeff trade value to plummet and make them disgruntled

Favors would be getting 30+ minutes on most every team except Utah since we have 2 good players ahead of him.

there is no such a thing as untradeable, let just say that Grant would offer Irving for Fav you would not aprove such offer ??? and one more thing i dont understand all this "love" Favors is receiving, for me only guy who is really worthed to keep from this team is Kanter.

Jazz's ending contracts are mainly what is up for grabs. I don't see Jazz trading any guys who are set to play next year unless a great trade comes up, except Marvin Williams, if we could get someone worth his cost, who we can actually get their price/performance, then we would trade, but Marvin is just a dead end.

Favors is the code value of DWill trade!

dwill trade means we give up current and looking for future! millsap n bIg Al are just a bridge to convert! And up to now, We still dont know Favors celling, he show up is talent behind millsap n big al! thats the reason why jazz dont want to trade favors, kanter, hayward and burks!

Also we wont trade our future for average stater!

The Jazz would be willing to work on a trade, but the following players would be really tough to pry away:
Favors, Kanter, Hayward

If you have interest in other players that is great--but if you want one of those guys be prepared to make it worth the Jazz' while (not just like a mid-1st round pick or a role player or something).
