I promise each and everyone of you. Ed Davis will become a fan favorite in no time. Raptors fans got so attached to him to the point I think many of us shed a tear tonight.
Many believe he can achieve all star status if given the opportunity. Hopefully the Memphis coach won't bench Ed everytime he makes a spectacular play.

Raptors coach benched Ed Davis everytime he played his heart out. That's his story as a raptor. He is a underachiever thanks to the management and coaching staff.

I have to confess I got him confused with Earl Clark. Mea Cupla.
He's good insurance if Arthur gets injured again. Looks like a good prospect after all. Much better than Jon Leuer

Might as well turn this into the Raptor fans hideout from the Raptors board since a lot of fans have become fans of the Grizzlies after this trade.

But ya I havn't really seen any Grizzlies fans too excited about getting Ed Davis...but they will find out soon

I also believe Ed Davis will become your starter once Randolph gets moved.

He is a starter material, that's for sure. And he will benefit a lot , learning from Zach and Gasol.

You guys got a gem.

We'd be a lot more excited about it if it didn't look like we're in the middle of blowing up our team in favor of a rebuild. I'm pretty worried and upset right now.

I get the pain from losing the leading scorer of your team, I'm so damn happy we have Rudy Gay with us now.

But I have to say, I never wanted Ed Davis to be traded. He's a really nice looking young player and he's a hard worker. He'll learn well under Gasol and Randolph. He's your PF of the future... he's 10x better than Arthur. When he gets up a shot in the paint, it seems like it always goes in, he is so unorthodox in the paint that defenders don't know how to defend his shots. He can block shots, and rebound the ball well... he's definitely something you guys should be happy about. I actually didn't think this deal was bad for Memphis at all... Prince has the experience and he's still got some left in him. You guys will be just fine.

That's questionable though. Arthur would start on most NBA teams imo.

I'm a gsw fan and even I wish I had ed Davis, he's super athletic, raw post moves with an automatic mid range shot. Still very young too, good defensive instincts. He's def borderline Allstar!

Yeah Ed is one of those guys that developed literally before our eyes in the span of months. If he keeps elevating his game at this rate I see All-Star material.

I am so ungry about Rudy Gay trade too. but Ed Davis has an excellent talent. I saw his play few times this season. He has great athleticis,good jumpshot,very physical high quality inside player.

Every Raptors fans told to me ED Davis is alot better basketball player than Andrea Bargnani.

Ed Davis is a bench player. If he gets to T.Gibson level would be a miracle. His D is weak, he can't create his own shot, he goes only left, he is pushed easily in the paint.He can't bulk it up because he did it last year and in an interview declared it wasn't working with his game.That's why his frame is thin again.He got inflated numbers lately because of Calderon and because as a starter he played 30+ min every night. Rudy Gay has been sold for peanuts, let me tell you, Hollinger is a joke.

Being better than Bargnani is not difficult. And the the Raptors gave Davis up instead of Ross for a reason. PFs like Davis are not as rare as a 2 way SG.

This guy knows nothing. ED was hated for some reason by Casey, he literally would grab an offensive board, put it back in during the last few minutes of the 4th and get yanked for Aaron Gray. :lol:
