OT - Anyone out there familiar with MLB the Show 11?

Post#1 » by 9er_4life » Wed Feb 6, 2013 2:16 pm

Mods, please lock if unsuitable for our forums. I haven't been able to find a gaming forum that's been helpful.

I'm new to gaming and recently purchased MLB the Show 11 to try it out. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but one thing that won't work for me is utilizing a player I created myself. The answers I found did not work in my case (new players won't appear on my free agent list for some reason). I'm getting really frustrated with it so I thought I'd see if there were any realgm'ers out there who had a similar problem.

Thanks.

If I remember correctly, I had the same problem before. I don't remember what I did to change it but there is a way. Ah.. Why not just update to the new one that's coming out soon?

^ I am planning to get the new one at some point, but right now this one fits my budget (can't beat $15 for the game). All answers I found to it had to do with going to roster management/ importing the new player from the free agent list. But mine won't appear (and I've tried creating new 'Joe Random's and it's the same thing). They are saved, because when I go under HDD 'delete' they show up - but I can't load them, edit them, or add them to existing rosters. It's very frustrating. Maybe it's a glitch in my copy of the game.

Figured it out. Sorry for wasting anyone's time. Mods, please take down. I seem to be technically challenged today and can't figure out how to delete my own thread.
