This guy won't play.

But Beal might. Game time decision.

I'll be there. Well, at my father-in-law's apartment, in front of his huge TV screen. Its razor sharp clarity has greatly enhanced my experience of this excruciating season.

Any other new arrivals/departures on the available roster? Beal return is welcome.

What's the last thing I said about Wall? This game? I will say just the opposite of what I last said.

Three things: 1. Will Tyson Chandler get his rebounds? 2. Will the Knicks continue to own the Wizards? 3. Will we see Wall with Crawford much this game?

http://www.nba.com/games/20130206/NYKWA ... ef:nbahpgt[0021200722]

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler has a chance to accomplish something that no NBA player has done in nearly 10 years.

The All-Star looks to grab 20 rebounds for a fourth straight contest Wednesday night when his visiting Knicks try to defeat the Washington Wizards for the 11th meeting in a row.

Chandler has grabbed exactly 20 rebounds in three straight games to tie the franchise record set by Hall of Famer Willis Reed in December 1969. Before this stretch, Chandler hadn't had that many boards in one game since 2008.
"That's what I expect," coach Mike Woodson said. "He can't tease me. He's done it three straight games, so I'm expecting it the fourth game."

Wall is hoping to see Wizards leading scorer Jordan Crawford break out of a major slump. Crawford is averaging 5.2 points on 32.4 percent shooting over his last six games.

"We still believe in him, we still trust him as our teammate and he's going to come out there and you never know, next game he might go out there and have 24, he's one of those players who just gets hot," Wall said.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

No Beal according to twitter, should be due for a paddlin. Knicks are playing pretty damn well as of late.

The Knicks haven't lost to the Wizards (12-35) since a 106-96 defeat Jan. 30, 2010, and cruised to a 108-87 home victory Nov. 30 in the lone previous meeting this season.

Washington, however, did not have an injured John Wall for that contest.

The Wizards have won six of seven at home, with Wall playing in the last six contests of that stretch. They have knocked off top teams such as Miami and Oklahoma City at the Verizon Center, and added another win against a division leader Monday by ending a four-game slide with a 98-90 victory over the Clippers.

I expect a physical game. Amare has been on fire lately. He and Chandler are playing well. The Knicks have an elite amount of talent. The thing interesting is the Wizards have played tough at home.

(EDITED -- I agree, nuposse, with you on three point shots)

The Knicks kill teams with the three point shot. They make a lot of threes and they do not turn the ball over. They do not protect the rim that well and NYK is not a good rebounding team, despite Chandler's boards. The keys to Washington beating the Knicks will be stopping them from hitting threes and limiting turnovers.

Wall, Temple, and Ariza each can bother the Knicks. If Nene is feeling really good, this is a game the Wizards could pull off an upset. I do NOT expect it, but this should be a pretty close game.

I mean really depends on their 3 point shot. Early in the season they seemed immortal with their 3 ball. Now they pretty much live and die by it. They're kinda like Duke, sans the flopping.

*oh and I wouldn't say they're a physical team. Melo is the only guy on that roster that seems to enjoy contact. Tyson Chandler plays good D but I wouldn't say he enjoys it. They're a jump shooting team for the most part.
