Can a team have a team rule where the penalty is the player is suspended without pay for a game?
If so then what happens to that foregone pay for salary cap and luxury tax purposes?

Re: Team Policies and Impact on Salary Cap
A player can be suspended by the league or by his team for breaking league or team rules, respectively. Team rules must be in writing, reasonable, and not in violation of the CBA or the standard player contract. The player’s salary is reduced by 1/110 of his base compensation for each game missed.
When the player is suspended by his team, there is no impact to the team’s salary cap or tax position.
When the player is suspended by the league, his salary is reduced by 50% of the suspension-related compensation amount for purposes of calculating the team’s tax obligation. There is no impact to the team’s salary cap position.
