Mike Wallace to Miami

Post#1 » by Mamba Mentality » Tue Mar 12, 2013 8:43 pm

Mike Wallace has been linked repeatedly to the Miami Dolphins, and now it's official.

NFL.com's Jeff Darlington reported Tuesday on NFL Network that Wallace and the Dolphins have agreed to a contract.

Reportedly a 5 year/$65 million dollar contract.

From my pats cap pov, it's meh. See him more in the division, but I'd rather him there than a contender like Pittsburgh.

Miami had a decent team last year, lost a few close games. I think they'll make a run for the WC next year.

I don't normally doubt Tomlin, but I don't know if you can call the Steelers a contender right now, especially with all of the roster changes going on.

While I certainly wouldn't want my team to do it, sometimes, you have to overpay to get free agents to come to a team that isn't really a contender.

Miami is where WRs go to die.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Agree. The issue becomes eating the excess $$ at the end of the overpaid deal when the team still isn't winning.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
