Count down to CLUB MED!!!!!!( the definition of insanity)

Post#1 » by OldJazzBones » Thu Mar 21, 2013 10:47 am

This team is playing with the heart of a bowl of cold gravy. Corbin cannot motivate the players, the players are checking their watches. Its like watching 20 guys playing blind mans bluff and none of them know the rules. The coach is coaching like his seat is hot(even though we know its not)trying to make the play offs with the same old line up. Paul looks like he can't believe he's still here thinking he would finish the season on a contender.Marvin is in his standard orbit ,we see him every 10 games( for a quarter).Foye is hoodwinked. Favors and Kanter are trying to find a way to impact the game from the pine(if they do Corbin will make them sit in the locker room during the game)Mo dribbles in his sleep then launches a shot 2 seconds before the alarm goes off and Al is still Al practicing his matador defence(post b-ball career maybe?) Uninspired, unmotivated , unwatchable! On a positive note I see Gordon Hayward is having is annual end of season hot streak. It would be nice to see him play with a team that has confidence going in to the playoffs in stead of one that has mentally called it a day. 6 drink minimum at Clubmed Bahama boys first one to defend the pick and roll drinks for free!(Big Al the ATM is just around the corner!)

We are the new Clippers. Get used to it. WHY would the so-called core four stick around at contract time? It's bad folks. Just bad.

I understand complaining in frustration--but at least be frustrated about the right things. All of the "core four" are under contract next year. Summer of 2014 Hayward and Favors will be restricted free agents so they don't have the option to leave without the team having the opportunity to match. Kanter and Burks won't become restricted free agents until the summer of 2015.

I just don't see how the spoiled Jazz fans could stand a couple years of rebuilding.

i think most of the jazz fans would absolutely stand a couple of years of rebuilding. the problem is that the way the team is being run we are not even getting to do that. you want to rebuild? go ahead and let the young players play instead of bury them on the bench. we aren't winning with the vets, might as well let the young players develop, not to mention you actually may end up winning MORE games.

you want to rebuild? go ahead and call it that. say that you actually are rebuilding and act accordingly. what the jazz did this year was a waste of a season on most - if not all - fronts. if we are rebuilding, why are we playing millsap instead of favors? why can't he get more than 20MPG in each of his three seasons with the jazz? why play foye and mo before hayward and burks, and why does kanter get 15MPG? this year the jazz played themselves into purgatory. it was their own doing.
Draft Nate Wolters - FAILED
Keep Nate Wolters - FAILED

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

As far as being a spoiled jazz fan is concerned I have a question or two for you -do you know the names Billy paultz, Ruch Kelly, terry furlow, dinner bell Mel and truck R? Do you remember listening to home games on tape delay that were played in Vegas because no one would come to the games? I paid $5 for a ticket under the basket and got a free Big Mac cause they scored 100. Spoiled I am not, hence my name. The FO is a baby bird that needs to jump and fly for the first time and leave mamma and the nest behind( mamma could be any combination of the FA we have next year). Remember y'all OKC sucked for 3years that's how they got Durrant , Westb and co. Real Jazz fans are ready to suck to build the future. Corporate jazz fans may leave but they'll jump back on when the bandwagon circles around. The one thing they all agree on is mediocrity sucks-but it's not the right kind of suck.
