Popeye Jones. Good fit for the Raptors next season?

There have been many rumors surrounding the return of Popeye Jones to the NBA in these recent weeks. Even more mystery surronds where he will inevitably land as many teams have shown interest and have made a few calls to Popeye and his management team.
I can still remember his 28 rebound game in the 95-96 season. That performance is what teams should expect as he has been working on his comeback for 9 years now. It is reported that he has been working out with Olajuwon on his rebounding and post-up.
The Raptors are among the many teams that have expressed interest because of their lack of rebounding especially considering their big being Bargnani (who has done nothing but disappoint). It looks like the Raptors are ready to offer Popeye a lucrative deal as they wish to add some veteran leadership to the team. Analysts say the Raptors may be willing to offer a deal around $15mil/3years, which seems extremely fair in my eyes.
Despite him being 42 years of age, I think his sheer size and length can offer the Raptors what they need to get over the hump. Any team would be lucky to land such an experienced and talented athlete. Hopefully our Raptors can lock him up with that long term deal.
