He's a helluva coach. Best Knick coach since Pat Riley.

I wish there was a picture of all the posts made by the fools here that wanted him to get the axe after the loss against the Clippers during our West Coast trip.

Not yet. Once we get into the ECF then we can sing Woody his praises.
Remember, this team is supposed to destroy in the 1st round - The true test is when we face Indy, who's first in opp FG% and 3P%
With our starters and bench there's no reason why we can't challenge for an ECF appearance. We have the necessary tools: Clutch superstar, 2nd option scorer, team defense (1st in points allowed next to SAS in the playoffs) and a solid rotation. Pacers are terrible at scoring and it'll be another grind-type round - We have the advantage plus homecourt.
I'm confident we can do it but until then, we have to take it one game at a time and hold off the celebration till later.

I wanted to strangle him for putting Novak in there in the fourth...but besides that, he did a helluva job last night.

Nonsense
Your increased expectations are direct result of Woodsons excellent coaching
The Knikc swerent supposed to do anything at the beginning of the season much less 2nd place and atlantic champs

Yea have to give a ton of credit to Woody, have to admit at one point this season I was really questioning his coaching schemes, Im still not the biggest fan of his switching but it seems like the team knows what to do now when switching, they get great help now and playing with each other for a bit now has really paid off.

Re: All Praise Due to Woodson
I had one issue with Woody for the entire year. The game in Golden State where he sent Melo back out in the 4th Quarter when it was painfully obvious that Melo wasn't right AND we were down by a gazillion points, made me lose it for a second and call for his firing. Outside of that, I've been lock and step with everything Woody has done. Love his plan and though not always, I love the execution OF that plan. The way he has gotten this team to buy in defensively is awesome to see.
B Diddy talked about Woody on NBA TV after the game and confirmed what I've been telling people all year. Woody gets on ALL of these guys and expects these guys to fall in line. Credit to Melo for maturing and being able to take that kind of coaching. He's commanded the respect of the players and they believe in Woody as much as they believe in Melo, which says a whole hell of a lot about Woody.

What do I care...it's rigged anyway
