I know some of you guys have access to historical NBA numbers in a queryable format. I've been wondering for a while on at what rate "winning" a statistical category for a single game helps you win the game. E.g. winning the points scored category would clearly result in a win rate of 100% etc. I did something to that effect some years ago after scraping basketball-reference.com for data but I don't have it anymore and can't be bothered to do it again since it's a **** job. I remember being surprised at how little winning the rebounding battle actually seemed to matter.

Anyway, if anyone could do it easily I'd love to see the results.

The Four factors of basketball I believe, which would be shooting, turnovers, rebounding, and free throws. For each team it'll be different but Dean oliver assessed these approximate weights: 40/25/20/15
