Jaime Garcia will require season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder, according to numerous reports.
The Cardinals placed him on the disabled list Saturday with what was initially called a shoulder strain.
Garcia suffered a similar injury last season but did not have surgery, opting instead for offseason rehab and strengthening.
