Who: Memphis Grizzlies(0-2) vs. San Antonio Spurs(2-0)
When: May 25th, 2013
Where: The Grindhouse Forum in Grittown,TN
Time: 8:00 PM CST
Season Series: Tied 2-2
Series Overall: Spurs lead 53-18
TV: ABC/ESPN 92.9
Team Trivia: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol, Grizzlies guard Mike Conley and Spurs forward Tim Duncan were each named to the 2012‐13 NBA All‐Defensive Second Team.

The Lowdown:

The Grizzlies find themselves in familar territory as they are down 0-2 coming home. It's imperative they play cohesive on both ends of the floor.

Man to man defense is a must. Make life for the Spurs shooters hell. Hands in faces.
TP is the decoy. Keep him from slashin to the post where he dishes his dimes. Plant his ass on perimeter.
Inside/outside game can't be all for the Grizz. Grizz shooters must be on point.
Limit TOs' and win the battle of the boards.
Avoid fighting from behind.
Take advantage of home court.

agreed with the lowdown...especially staying in front of three point shooters and contesting...defending parker pick n roll is tough...only way i see is if the big man has to show or trap to get ball out of his hands or sag of and make him shoot the shot and contest..poindexter, daye, dooling, wroten have to fire away from three point if they get the look...prince shuld post up once in while...gasol should go low post and randolph high, and switch it up back and forth...shuld be good game...like they say its win or go home time for grizzlies...

Totally is a do or die game for the Grizzlies today. You can't come back from a 3-0 hole. We made a push at the end of last game and I would like to see that same offensive intensity here in Memphis. It is possible if we can spread the floor/find cutters. Randolph and Gasol need to be aggressive, as they've been terrible so far in this series. Tony Allen needs to play TP at times, so that he can steer him off his angles and force him into contested jump shots or easily anticipated passes. Conley needs to play a lot, so he is going to be a huge factor for us in getting our offense going. Right now, he is our best player hands down. Keep up the work/intensity on both ends, MC.

Bad TOs' leading to 7 quick points for the Spurs.

Q-Pon with the needed 3 pointer. Grizz still struggling to stay consistant on offense in the second.

Spurs paid for leaving Marc open on the perimeter.

The Grizz need to rebuild the lead. And keep the Spurs offense at bay.

Only down 6 in the early fourth. Need to get some offense going and make the Spurs turn the ball over and stall on offense.

I'm so disgusted with this team. I refuse to watch another game of this series. They can't hit a layup, FT, or do anything.

It's not that the Spurs are so far superior, but that the Grizz have missed so many easy opportunities. Mike Conley was the only saving grace.

Not looking good. Once again, missed FTs are the enemy of the Grizzlies. Cannot win games if you miss crucial FTs.

damn...grizzlies had it and lost it in the end like usual...well sorry to say this series over...dunno whats the deal with memphis is...i cant figure out what they r doing when i watch them both on offense and defense really...in late stages of game they r takin too much time to run their offensive sets...it causes them either to go into iso offense or just take a horrible shot..defense like usual they either didnt guard or just lost their man over a screen..honestly i had grizzlies taking this series in 4 or 5...i kinda look real bad on the message boards now..damn..sorry grizz fans it ended like this

I know it looks like it's over but the Spurs still have to win a game. We've put together 4 game winstreaks before. Although walking out of that place Saturday night I had no hope, after a night of sleep my hope is a small glowing ember, barely alive. And all I can say is when they lose games like this - it makes the wins that much sweeter.
