David Price has thrown his first bullpen session since being sidelined last month by a strained left triceps.
Price, on the disabled list for the first time in his career, made 38 throws over eight minutes Friday.
"It was what we were looking for, just come away from this and feel good, have a smile on your face," Price said.
Price is scheduled to throw again Monday and hopes to pitch in a simulated game soon.
