The 2013 Wimbledon Championships

Post#1 » by Rich Rane » Mon Jun 24, 2013 4:22 am

Break out the white clothing and strawberries and cream. Picks?

The men's side is the widest I've seen in years. I could see anyone in the Top 8 lay claim to the Championship. One huge glance should be taken on Nadal and Federer sharing a quarter bracket.

I'll be surprised if Serena doesn't continue her dominant year despite the off court media attention with the Rolling Stone interview and a small war of words with Sharapova.

Gotta be one of the biggest upsets ever. Nadal just off a FO win and gets knocked out in straight sets.

Absolutely shocked at Nadal. It was just a huge contrast in watching him after Federer's match as well. Speaking of which, his quarter got a whole lot easier.

At first I was reading the update thinking Nadal lost in some warmup tournament then I remembered Wimbledon started today.

Gotta like Nole's chances now.

^ Huh, I'm actually surprised by that. I didn't think it was bad enough to the point where they couldn't let it slide.

Wow, Sharapova just lost a first set to Michelle Larcher de Brito. And now down an early break in the second.

And just like that, the 2 and 3 seeds on the women's side are out.

Haha I don't mind seeing Sharapova out.

Murray and Fed look solid. Ugh Fed lost the 2nd in a tiebreak
