I hope Vesely can rebuild his confidence. The coaches should demand that he take at least 10 shots a game.

That's a very judge mental thing to say.

Sounds very prejudice.

Is JV playing in summer league this year? I thought I read it somewhere. If JV is playing he need to dominate at least one aspect of the game.

Edit: Nate answered my question above.

Are you trying to make this racial? Sorry I'm black. IMHO, players who do that are more about themselves than the team, just bloody showing off in the middle of the game. Just my opinion...how the hell did you make that leap? I remember Steve Francis doing something similar a few years back, and the refs were so busy watching the "slam dunk contest" they didn't realize the dumb f*ck had traveled. Where is Stevie these days?

Depends on what they want him to be. Is he gaining weight again so he can play some center? I think that's his only chance because if he wants to be a 3-4 combo, he can't shoot or won't, so why not play inside and try to develop a post move. And considering it looks like we aren't going after a FA 4 or 5 (barring an Ariza trade), he'd get more playing time if he bulked up.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I honestly don't expect Otto to be that exciting in summer league. Probably decent efficiency, good(for summer league) defense and some smart plays, but nothing super unusual.

I'm more curious to see Tomas just because there's nothing on this guy but I think Otto will do just fine. He could end up with a lot of 655-7% shooting games out there in limited minutes. People are assuming and expecting a role-player-type game from him but he WAS the alpha dog in Georgtown and he DID put up some pretty good numbers. He's not Danny Green coming out. He was a legitimate #1 option for a tourney team out of the Big East. He should be one of the top 10 players in the summer league.

I bet Bradley Beal sits out to rehab, I'd love to see what Otto, Sataransky and G-MoneyJr can do running up and down the court together.

I didnt say it was Racial, I said prejudice.
To make judgement of Somebody's character based off a dunk is just wrong and prejudice.i don't care what race you are. It's prejudice to make that kind of judgment on anybody. So how about you clear things up there. I said nothing about racial.

Ahh. Got it.

Got some bad news for you. The brain is wired to judge and pre-judge things. Its what tells you driving fast on wet roads isn't a great idea, nor is walking down the street in a bad neighborhood with $100's handing out of your pocket. It's also tell you not to mouth off to a bad ass that is drunk. Observation and experience builds up this database in our brains. We all do it.

If we judged everything in life from a completely fresh start, you would never accumulate knowledge and wisdom.

Accumulated knowledge from observations and experience is what makes us difference allows us to draw different conclusions. We all judged the draft picks and prejudged/speculated on when they would get drafted based on teams picking and how they would do in the NBA.

What I think your real issue is, is not prejudging and judging itself as an action, but the bias/conclusions that were drawn by someone.

That's just a difference of opinion. Not really a big deal. That's what we do here.

Personally, I have no issue with the comment that was made.

"In game slam dunk contest dunks scream knucklehead to me." So what. Nothing wrong with making a statement like that.

Ok, no harm no foul. I'm just old school. The kid may well be a fine player, but those sort of things just irk me is all. You think any of Pop's players in San Antonio could pull that?

Ay word on Sato yet? Regardless of how he plays I'm sure he's overseas one more year, but I kind of like the approach they're taking with him. He gets his work in here over the summer and then he continues to develop without the clock on his rookie deal running. There's no reason to bring him over to sit.
