I was hoping some Spurs fans could answer a couple questions for me I was curious about, as I don't get the opportunity to watch many Spurs games.
The Canadian national team is starting to look quite a bit stronger lately, and maybe even could challenge for a medal in the next Olympics.
The frontcourt seems to be very strong, but back court is a weakness. Myck Kabongo didn't turn out quite like some of us thought he would. Kevin Pangos might get drafted, but isn't really anything special (though could fair well in international competition). Tyler Ennis is a 5 star recruit, but just going to college this year may bust, or may not be ready for the National team any time soon.
So, it looks like it may be down to Corey running the team. I was curious if you had any info about him. Is he capable of running a team. What are his strengths and weakness'? Do you project for him to improve? Do you think he has the capabilities to be a future starter, or 2nd PG?
Thanks for any info.

Re: Corey Joseph question
I see the future of Cory as more of a steady backup point guard type. Reminds me to someone like Earl Watson. I don't think he'll ever be a star. Perhaps a borderline starter some day. But my expectations are simply for him to become a solid backup PG.
Cory can run a team decently. His best attribute is perhaps his defensive intensity. That's probably it. I didn't see anything special from him defensively though. I thought he's solid, but it's not like he's Avery Bradley out there. He's simply hardworking defensively and he hustles. Not saying that's a bad thing, but just saying that he doesn't look like he has that potential to become an elite defensive PG.

Right on, appreciate it.
I don't think team Canada would really need him to be a star. Just as long as he can defend, run a team, and deliver the ball to Wiggins, Bennet, Olynyk, Bonnar, Thompson, etc.. in the right spots that would be sufficient I imagine.
Earl Watson with some better D, sounds like it would be a very good outcome from the 29th pick in the draft.
