Has anyone heard anything about Jason? We talk about how Smith is a fit for our team or not. What we have done is seriously upgrade the talent. Let the coaches make it work. To look at Ben Wallace, an undersized center, and say he fit the profile of a championship team would be a giant leap of faith. I am excited about the additions.

Not sure what the majority of your post has to do with Maxiell, but I agree with you, schemes and systems are great and all, but at the end of the day, games are won with talent.

i think Max will find a home closer to the season starting. He could help a contender off the bench.

He'd perform on a high level if someone gave him an opportunity ........in China

It's not like Max isn't an NBA player. He shouldn't ever start, but he'll be on an NBA roster.

He's definitely not a starter, but a good energy off the bench guy.

He's had his moments.

He should go to San Antonio. He would be a great fit there.

Do you think the Heat would go for him? I was thinking they would but they probably want a taller dude.

I think he gets a min contract in all honesty. He'll find a roster spot but not much playing time.

I hear Maxiell has elected to undergo gender reassignment and plans to dominate the WNBA for the next decade.

I could see him getting backup minutes with the Heat. In the meantime, I think they will try to land someone better. If they don't find anyone, I think it's a possibilty that Maxiell signs with a contender as a backup when no better options are available.
