He just tweeted:

Doctors cleared me to practice. Coach is going to ease me in. Thank you for your support & See you in Richmond

Great news of course. I wonder how much he'll play in the preseason if at all. I'd definitely sit him the first two preseason games at least, but I would like to see him get some snaps to get ready for the season.

Yeah Schefter on ESPN reported that, which means it's true considering he and Shanny have been close for 10+ years.

Shanny has always been conservative when it comes to dealing with player injuries and their recoveries, and it's not like we'd be running any of our actual offense in preseason anyway so I'm okay with the decision. Hope he's not too rusty come Week 1.

True, but historically he's been conservative when it comes to his players recoveries.
